Good morning Patrick,

Daryl & Anne Kilbourne (AZ)

Dear Patrick and Danese,
Thank you for all the help you gave us with our Brake Cable problem on our ’54 first series truck!

Your hospitality was over the top!

Daryl and I enjoyed touring your shop and sseeing the projects you and your staff were working on. We also enjoyed eating lunch with all of you too! The pizza was great!

You and your staff definitely are a model for customer service; we felt like family not just a customer. We look forward to finishing our classic truck and driving it down to visit you all!

Patrick and Company,
Thank you for providing the kit to rebuild my 235 and the knowledge to do the swap with the 216 that used to reside in my ’51 Chevy 5 window. Patrick you are the besst when it comes to customer service and I thank you for taking the time to make things work for my engine swap. You provide great service and low prices for your quality products. It is rare these days to find a company that takes the time to make sure their customer is truly satisfied with their purchase. You folks rock! To anyone who might consider the 235 for the 216 swap, I am recommending that they contact you for all their parts needs. I appreciate your professionalism before and after the sale as you have always provided answers to my questions and without your knowledge, I would have struggled mightily with the swap. Thanks again and take care!

I have been meaning to send you guys (or as we say ya’ll) an e-mail regarding the 4 speed install I did in my ’53 pick-up. It is hands down the best change I have made to the old girl. I can now get out and drive in the CRAZY Atlantic traffic without having to shift back and forth between 2nd and 3rd all the time. The gears now are just right and with your high speed ring and pinion it is a real pleasure to drive. Thanks again for all your help.

Last week I called you to ask if you had a double crank pulley for a ’54 Chevrolet 235. I need the pulley to complete the installation of a P/S unit on my ’49 sedan. You didn’t have it in stock but instead of leaving it at that and ending our telephone conversation you without hesitation took the time to locate the telephone number of the Damper Doctor. It turns out the Damper Doctor was able to make up a double crank pulley that will meet my need. I want to thank you for your exceptional service. It is by example that we teach our best lessons.

Patricks,
Thank you for your help. All of you renew my faith in Americans! Need any contacts in N.E. California? You have a friend in me.

Dear Patrick,
I apologize for being so tardy in telling you what happen to my 1939 Ford Sedan engine. You will call that I had a set of Offenhouser heads and the pistons hit the heads. You help me get another set of heads that fit. An unrelated engine problem caused the delay. I started the engine NO OIL PRESSURE. I cut the engine off, paniced, and took the engine out of the frame and disassembled it looking for the problem, but I did not find any leaks. I put the engine back in the car and installed a mechanical oil gauge, started in again and this time the new gauge showed oil pressure. It was the gauge all the time.

Looking back, I should have done more searching before I panicked and took the engine out of the car, but I did not consider the oil gauge could be faulty. I have never had a gauge not work. I have had three or four sending units to failed, however, I knew the sending unit was working, and I did not even consider the gauge was defective – a costly mistake. The 39 Ford had been in storage since 1965 during the intervening 47 years the gauge must have shorted out.

The motor runs great! Easy to start, sounds strong; I have not pulled it out of the garage yet, but I am looking forward to driving it in the spring, and I have you to thank for the great outcome if you had not come to my rescue I am sure the manufacturer would not have replaced the heads. You are the only person I know in this business that will look out for the customer as you do.

Patrick and Phillip,
You guys are the best!
Thanks for getting me the exhaust extension part… It looks great!
I appreciate all of your effort and going the extra mil for me! Especially the quick turn around on the part.
There are not too many companies around anymore that have the first rate customer service that you have shown me.
Thanks again…
I’ll send you a photo of my ’54 GMC with your exhaust and Fenton headers soon.

Thank you and all your family for the pizza and soda. We really enjoyed the visit with you folks. I also enjoy dealing with your company, mainly because you all know what you’re doing. If you ever get into Kingman, give us a call.

As a rookie in auto restoration, and not particularly mechanically gifted, I greatly appreciate the time and effort that you and your staff made in order to walk me through things. Everyone on your staff, from the gal who answers the phone on down, is full of accurate information and very willing to help. In an age where customer service is becoming increasingly hard to find, it was refreshing to experience the outstanding treatment I received courtesy of Patrick and staff. I was made to feel like I was part of the family. Keep up the great work!

Joe Lencucha (CA)

Patricks,
I telephoned your shop on Tuesday, May 4th to inquire about an exhaust pipe flange for a 1962 235 c.i. motor. I spoke with a very nice and knowledgeable lady who said you could send one to me for $10.00 post paid. Customer service representatives such as she are a pillar of your company. In this day and age, that is a rare quality and one that should be highly valued. Enclosed is a money order for the $10.00 and my thanks for truly great service.

Hugh Armstrong (WA)

Dear Pat,
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your business hospitality when my wife and I bought some 6 cylinder parts back on February 3rd. It was nice dealing with good people like you!
Take Care!

Bill (AZ)

Patrick's, Father & Son,
I want to thank you all for your great gift to me!
Thank you again!

Dear Patrick,
It's a pleasure and a rare experience dealing with an honest of conscientious man. I talked to you yesterday about the transmission conversion I installed on my 51 GMC panel truck and the trouble I had with the speedometer drive gear. Enclosed is the drive gear unit which needs the gear replaced. I appreciate your ethics in offering to replace the tailpiece housing, and fully understand it was a manufacturing tolerance issue with an outside vendor.
I want you to know I have been very pleased with every item provided by you and your family. The Saginaw transmission change kit (except for the Speedo drive), the ring and pinion conversion kit, the Wayne valve and lifter covers, and the dual point Mallory distributor change have all worked flawlessly as described. If you ever need a reference, for any of your customers, to verify the quality of your products or service, I would be happy to do so.
If you remember I also need a copy of the transmission conversion directions, which I seem to have misplaced.
Thanks Again.

Mr. Win (Hong Kong, CHINA)

Dear Mr. Patrick,
How are you! I sent some Hong Kong souvenirs for you and your family. Thank you very much to supply the parts for my 1961 Chevrolet Belair and 1954 Chevrolet 210. These 2 cars engine parts are supplied by you. I snet some phot's of my cars. As you can in the photo, the 1954 Chevrolet 210 is under restoration. I love American cars. My hobby is antique American cars. I also have a 1952 Packard 300 4-door sedan.
In the future, I will be ordering the parts only from you. I am very satisfied to order the parts from you. Hopefully we are very good friends for many years in the future.
Thanks and Best Regards...

Al Pomanti (Ontario, CANADA)

Hello Patrick,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get in touch with you. Thank you very much for the water pump kits - they were greatly appreciated and the fast service also. The thoughtful and honest business people like yourself make the auto hobby a fun place to be.
In the future, I will be ordering the parts only from you. I am very satisfied to order the parts from you. Hopefully we are very good friends for many years in the future.
Enclosed you will find a couple pictures that show that we in the north forty, with the help of dealers like yourself, can build award winning cars. The colours are not perfect because I scanned the pictures at home, and am no computer expert. The pictures show you an idea of what the cars look like. My 1950 Ford has run almost trouble free since 1983, with Flathead engine dual carbs and Mallory ignition, aluminum heads and T5 five speed transmission. Although the Merc is on an Olds Chassis and Olds motor, Joe is building a new chopped coupe which will have a fuel injected flathead and T5 five speed. So, I think he has come to his senses and has gone back to our favourite motor the Flathead Ford.
Thanks Again...

Jack Slaght (AK)

Hi Patrick,
I appreciate the help you've given me in my effort to rebuild the 270 GMC engine for my 1-ton flatbed. Yeah, I guess it's sort of been a comedy of errors. Your giving me the guides to replace the missing ones and also the adaptor manifold rings is a much appreciated gesture. You don't have to worry about how you set with me! Your reputation is good - the best. As long as folks are trying to do their best job - that's what counts in my book. If for some weird reason you should decide to come up to SE Alaska & Petersburg for summer fishing or sight seeing, you have a place to stay. We have a guest apartment over the garage that is nice inside with a bathroom and a killer view of Wrangle Narrows and snow capped mountains on the island next to ours.

You can't see any other houses from our place and it's an awesome place to relax and forget about any worries! Petersburg is called "Little Norway" and is a pretty large fishing port in our part of the state. Anyway, thought I'd drop you a line and make sure you know I appreciate your efforts, Patrick.
Take care...
